Coverage note. These weekly values are computed from publicly-declared customs shipments. Peru's largest fishmeal and fish-oil exporters file their declarations under name confidentiality, so they are not included here — this series reflects the visible shipment segment, not Peru's total export volume. About this data

The weekly figures are our own transparent calculation from official Peruvian customs (SUNAT) export declarations: total declared FOB value divided by total exported net weight, grouped by ISO week (Monday–Sunday) of the shipment date. The underlying values, weights and shipment records are officially published; the weekly weighted unit value is calculated by Polaris Aqua. Because major exporters file under customs name-confidentiality, the per-shipment data covers only part of Peru's total volume — treat these weekly values as an indicator of the visible shipment segment, and use the gold BCRP monthly export-price series for total-market context.
